Our journey begins...

in Greece on the shores of the beautiful Aegean Sea, where we will stay in a comfortable and tranquil spa-resort with healing waters, close to Thermopylae, the place where Leonidas, the Hero King of Sparta, once fought and halfway to Delphi: the most celebrated oracle of the ancient world. Here, twenty-five scholars and esotericists from across the world will meet and spend seven days, examining the source and foundations of the mystery and esoteric traditions; their expressions and nuances in the ancient and contemporary world.

About Stoa Hypatia

The conference is organized by Stoa Hypatia, a non-profit lodge active under the auspices of the Theosophical Society in Greece. Stoa Hypatia was founded on 1st of October of 2004, and since then has been actively organizing lectures and publishing a free quarterly magazine entitled Hypatia which presents, both academic and non-academic articles on the history and study of perennial philosophy, theosophies, and esotericism in general. Stoa Hypatia aims to promote the unbiased study and research of esotericism, theosophies, perennial philosophy and theosophical history. The Stoa attempts to practically promote the following three objects: To form a nucleus of the Universal Brotherhood of Humanity, without distinction of race, creed, sex, caste, or color; to encourage the study of Comparative Religion, Philosophy, and Science; to investigate unexplained laws of Nature and the powers latent in Man.
